Current Partners

We are currently working with the following partners:

  1. Swayam Shikshan Prayog (SSP): SSP is a development organization based in Mumbai that provides technical support and access to economic and social opportunities to women and communities at the grassroots so they move from margin to the mainstream of development planning and governance. SSP works in the area of disaster risk reduction, microfinance, community health, sustainable livelihoods, so on. We have been working with SSP since one year and have launched comprehensive health management systems in two different locations in rural Maharashtra
  2. LabourNet: LabourNet is a facilitating body based in Bangalore that responds to low skill levels and poor working conditions in the construction industry. It serves as a link between workers and users (contractors, end clients, builders, so on) to connect workers to jobs. We are working with LabourNet in Haryana to provide preventive and primary health services to construction workers.

Potential Partnerships/Who we partner with

We are currently looking for more partner organizations which share the vision of improving the health of low income households and are willing to collaborate in an open and transparent manner towards building health systems or towards building tools, systems and processes for sharing with other interested organizations.

Our principles for selecting the partner for providing financial aid are:
  1. Should focus on building a self-sustaining comprehensive health system within 18-24 months. There should be revenue collection from day 1 and a clear path for becoming self-sustaining should be visible
  2. Should focus on improving the overall health of the community and not just cover the cost of providing health care services
